After five major exhibitions and four catalogues since 2008, the exhibition The Immense Body of the Void invites you to discover major, previously unseen works by Bernard Saby from every period and in every format.
The success of the previous exhibitions, with acquisitions by major private collections but also by the Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris and the Centre Pompidou, has encouraged us to present this body of work in two different, successive phases, the first in April and the second in May.
First part from Thursday 7 April to Thursday 28 April 2022. Second part from Friday 6 May to Saturday 28 May 2022, opening on Thursday 5 May, 5 to 9 pm. The fifth catalogue published by the gallery appeared on this occasion.
Owing to the success of this double exhibition, an extra week was added until Saturday 4 June, with a new hang and previously unseen works. Stéphane Gatti, representing the artist’s studio, presented unseen works on paper and miniatures, and spoke about the methods and sources of Bernard Saby’s painting on Friday 3 and Saturday 4 June, 4.30 to 7 pm.
