From 14 October to 19 November 2022
Galerie Les Yeux Fertiles, 27 rue de Seine, Paris 6e
Opening on Thursday 13 October 2022, 5 to 9 pm
The gallery pays a special tribute to Joaquín Ferrer (1928-2022). Also in the exhibition are the “Latino” artists who were at times his friends and companions in creation, in Cuba as in Paris.
“I see abstract forms in nature, lines and more lines… Trees, for example, are as interesting as human forms. I take pleasure in transforming them into abstract forms and introducing them into the architecture of my paintings.” J. Ferrer in 2016, quoted by Serge Fauchereau in the Maison de l’Amérique latine catalogue, Hermann, 2017.
Hermann, 2017.
